CD Duplication is available from as little as 50 units, Media Matters print directly to the disc surface using the latest in disc printing technology. Choose from bulk discs, jewel case packaing (with various options for booklets and inlays) to plastic wallets and digitally printed card sleeves, there are many other innovative ways of packaging your discs, contact us to discuss your options.
Using only Taiyo Yuden media, your discs will be digitally printed directly to the media surface. CDs can hold up to 700 Mbyte of data or 80 minutes of music. |

| DVD Duplication
Services DVD
duplication is the ideal production service for DVD runs of less than
1000 units. As with our CD duplication services, we only use Taiyo Yuden
media - the best media on the market, and certainly the most expensive,
but you won't see that reflected in our prices, we are always
competitive providing you with a quality product and a great price.
Your DVDs can be supplied in a variety of different packaging options from plastic or paper sleeves, DVD cases with or with out inserts and booklets to DVD style digipaks or full colour card sleeves. For larger runs we can also provide many different options for custom packaging. DVDs are digitally printed directly to the disc surface and hold a total of 4.7 Gybte of data or up to 1hours video at high quality. |

CD and DVD Replication
Services
CD and DVD Replication is the lower cost option for production runs over 1000 units, or where time is not in short supply. Replication is a manufacturing process, producing your discs from basic raw materials and typically requires 10 working days, although it is sometimes possible for shorter production times. We only work with Europe's top DVD replication plants and can ensure you of a top quality product everytime with the shortist possible delivery times. From a typical run of 1000 discs, we can also provide many hundreds of thousands! Replication involves the creation of a glass master from which metalised stampers are created, these then replicate the metal layer of the disc, and the completed item is formed from injection moulded plastic (the disc), whilst the metal layer has UV lacquer coat applied to protect the surface of the disc. The finsihed disc is then ready for either litho or screen printing. |

CD and DVD Authoring
With CD Authoring, instead of just having your data available on the disc for the user to access, the disc can be set up to either automatically run a PDF or Flash presentation, for example, or we can create a front end menu which automatically loads when the disc is inserted to a PC. From that menu the user can select from the different items listed. Media Matters Technology can also provide you with all your DVD authoring requirements. Authoring is the final part of the jigsaw for DVD production, we take your uncompressed edited video (on hard drive or suitable tape media in either PAL or NTSC) and can then create your front end menu, chapter points etc and if required CSS or Macrovision copy protection ready for replication. Video Encoding and Conversion Media Matters are also able to convert your video footage from most formats (including many legacy formats) and output the data to virtually any other modern computer format inlcuding most tape formats such as DVtape, Digibeta etc and CD, DVD or Blu-ray. |

Custom Packaging
As well standard packaging such as CD jewel cases and DVD cases, Media Matters can also work with you to design any style of custom boxing and packaging you may require. The example to the left was for a 48pp 4/4 A4 landscape book with DVD case and single DVD, all supplied in a custom clamshell box. |

DVD AuthoringDVD authoring refers to the process of creating a DVD Video which can be played on a DVD set top player or in a PC or Apple Mac. Authoring of a DVD enables the DVD to autostart, of if required run a start menu, which can have a number of options to access various sections of the DVD. |
