Microtech Xstreamjet Bulk Ink (CISS) Disc Printing SystemThe Microtech Xpress XE Xstreamjet with bulk ink printing is a formidable disc production system, designed for 24 hour production.Based on Piezo variable droplet technology the Xstreamjet bulk ink disc printer can print vibrant photo quaility images direct to disc at resolutions of up to 5760 x 1400 dpi. With five colours (+black), the Xstreamjet provides superior half tones and has brilliant colour matching. And coming from Microtech, with their robust technology and superior engineering, the Xstreamjet bulk ink printer and Xpress XE autoloader are built for long life and heavy duty use. The Xstreamjet bulk ink (CISS) printer brings professional quality to in-house production of discs, enabling users to print outstanding photo quality images directly on to the surface of discs. A cost effective integrated automatic media printing solution, the Xstreamjet bulk ink printer provides the highest resolution production in the industry together with its' lowest print cost per disc - typically around £0.03 per disc. DiscPrint Software Microtech's own premium DiscPrint software is the tool used for designing and printingimages and text directly on to disc media. The DiscPrint software allows you to generate dynamic text, supporting text and graphic files enabling your creativity to be the guide. You can also use your own prefered graphics system including Adobe Illustrator, Quark Express or Coreldraw. Bulk Ink (CISS) The Microtech Xstreamjet utilses a CISS (Continuous Ink Supply System) kit, which replaces the ink cartridges usually found in inkjet printers. Each resovoir (there are six in total, five colour and one black) holds approximately 95ml of ink. The ink is supplied in 1 litre bottles then easily transfered to the resovoirs. When full, the CISS kit on the Xstreamjet printer will provide you with approximately 2500 discs with 100% coverage between refills! And with costs of around £0.03 per disc, the CISS system is not only cheaper but is also much more convenient! Microtech Software Microtech has been creating software for over 25 years and the ImageMaker EZ software included on the integrated PC provides the operator with an easy to use system for job queuing to the Xstreamjet Printer. ImageMaker EZ can be used either directly on the disc production system, or remotely at a computer connected via the network. |
